She was predeceased by: her husband George; her parents, William Howell and Bertha Howell; her brother Bill Jr.; and her daughter Jeannette.
She is survived by: her grandchildren, Glen (Clare Stankievech), Clint (Deb Stankievech), Debbie (Norm Silberstein), Andrew (Nicole Stankievech) and Terrie (Darcey Steeves); and her sisters-in-law, Margaret Stankievech and Lorena Stankievech. She is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to MADD, Heart and Stroke Foundation, or St. Paul's United Church.
