He was loved and cherished by many people including: his children, Troy (Kelly), Tyson, Ryan, Owen, Dara (Maegan), Hayden, Ben, Charlie, Marnie (Jason), Morgan (Austin), Kale and Joeli; and his parents, Maurice Sr. Frere and Margaret Frere. He was also cherished by his nine grandchildren.

In lieu of flowers, donations in memory of Maurice may be made to the Canadian Cancer Society in recognition of the far too many loved ones Maurice lost who were dear to him.
