He was predeceased by: his parents, James Hessie Balkwill and Olive Cavaghan. He is survived by: his wife Grace; his daughters, Deborah Guebert (Dave) and Susan Meding (Rich); his brothers, Don (Hilda) and Larry (Marjorie); and also, Lillian and Beatrice. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, great-nieces, great-nephews, great-great-nieces, and great-great-nephews.
