He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Leonard Nelson and Anna Nelson; his wife Maureen; his son Reg; his siblings, Lowell (Lizzie), Bud (Margaret) and Ida; his brother-in-law Sanford Sydness; his parents-in-law, Wilfred, Susan and Peggy Pineau; his daughters, Sharon Wagstaff (Lorne), Wendy Dettmer (Manley), Kathy D'arcy (Norman) and Nancy Riep (Glen); his daughter-in-law Sheila Nelson; his brother Bill Nelson (Yvonne); his grandchildren, Darcy Wagstaff (Nicola), Dennis Wagstaff (Jessie), Ryan Dettmer (Denny), Chad Dettmer (Ashley), Travis D'arcy, Derek D'arcy (Lisa), Joel Riep (Lesley), Jaclyn Alexander (Brad), Curtis Riep (Leanne), Matt Nelson (Mandy), Colby Nelson (Lisa), Emily Nelson (Steve) and Julie Nelson (Brett); and his great grandchildren, Kennedy (Alix), Keegan (Jordyn), Kiera, Parker, Peyton, Colten, Rory Wagstaff, Turner, Nash, Harper, Bentley Dettmer, Declan, Carver D'arcy, Emelia, Bennett, Eddison, Sullivan Alexander, Finn, Max Riep and Owen Reginald James Nelson. He was also cherished by extended family and friends.
