He is survived by: his son Herbert Vernon; his wife Linda Koehn; his sons, Timothy (Bonnie), Patrick (Eleanor) and Travis (Wendy); his grandchildren, Tony, Danica, Denon, Emma, Dylan and Aislinn; and his siblings, Rudy Heidebrecht, Harry Heidebrecht and Betty Hall.
