He was predeceased by: his parents, Fred and Hilda; his sister Gladys Winter; his brother-in-law Fred; and his brother Harvey Grinde.
He is survived by: his wife Joanne; his children, Trevor Grinde (Louise) and Holly Chodak (Ken); his stepchildren, Ryan Musiyowski (Sarah), Sheldon Musiyowski (Andrea), Kyle Musiyowski (Alyssa) and Tyler Musiyowski (Kathryn); his grandchildren, Morgan, Julie, Carter Grinde, Karston, Tollen Chodak, Jabin, Seth, Logan Musiyowski, Austin, Acadia, Noah Musiyowski, Emerson, Emery Musiyowski, Jaylin and Jace Musiyowski; and his sisters, Jeanie Donnelly (Vern) and Gertie Gosse (Dave).
