He was predeceased by: his parents, Dick Peters and Mary Peters; and his sister Linda Alm (Al). He is survived by: his sister Ann Faulkner (Ron); his niece Jane Paul (Kelvin); his nephews, Terry Alm (Jenafor), Dean Alm (Tam), Cory Faulkner, Ryan Faulkner (Michelle) and Blair Faulkner (Jaclyn); and his great-nieces and great-nephews, Terrice, Vaughn (Randee), Moraya, Justine (John), Vince (Justine), Kurtis (Teresa), Troy, Quinn, Tessa, Paige and Rhett. He is also survived by eight great-great nieces and nephews.
