It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of George J. Schmidt Sr. (Tofield, Alberta), who passed away on November 2, 2019, at the age of 98, leaving to mourn family and friends. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
He was predeceased by: his wife Margaret; and his siblings, Neta, Mary, Lena, Erica, Katie, John and David.
He is survived by: his sister Martha. He is also survived by his five children, fourteen grandchildren, and fourteen great grandchildren.
Memorial donations may be made to the Mennonite Central Committee, or to the Tofield United Church.
