He was predeceased by: his parents, David Fairbrother and Marion Fairbrother; his son Dwayne; his siblings, Lenora, Ila, Anson, Margret and Jane; and his siblings-in-law, Earl Tally, Mike Marchuk, Ole Rafet and Sylvia Fairbrother.
He is survived by: his wife Grace Grundberg; his children, Trevor (Val) and Colleen (Kaare); his grandchildren, Kevin (Morgan), Jesse, Payton, Paisley, Stephanie (William), Ashley (Austin) and Ryan; his great grandchildren, Elizaveta, Bryzen and Bryxton; and his siblings, Mark (Veronica), Mann (Maureen), Jewel, Diana (Ervin) and Darlene.
A memorial service was held on Saturday, February 8th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the Bardo Lutheran Church (5609 48 St, Tofield, AB T0B4J0).
