He was predeceased by: his parents, Ed Tiedemann and May Tiedemann; his sons, Colin and Kevin; his wife Norma; and his siblings, Bert (Alberta), Ralph and Elsie Gray (Bronk).

He is survived by: his son Clayton; his grandchildren, Andy (Cheryl) and Erica; his great grandchildren, Brodie, Harvey and Reece; his daughter Cheryl (Larry); his grandchildren, Kaelie, Cassie (Cory) and Delanie (Kris); his great grandchildren, Jordyn, Taylor, Aiden, Leland and Zac; his sisters, Helen Tiedemann and Vera Heitman (John); and his sister-in-law Myrtle Tiedemann. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews, family, and friends.
