He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Hendrik Zyderveld and Lena Van Zyderveld (Berkhout); his wife Tiria Weizenbach; and his children, Ron Van Zyderveld, Thelma Dubbeldam (Peter), Leah Tranelis (Stefan), Dorothy Kirstein (Marlon), John Van Zyderveld (Lori), Paul Van Zyderveld (Karen) and Christine DeBruyn (Rick). He was also cherished by 22 grandchildren and 23 great grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews.
