He was predeceased by: his parents, John Funk and Anne Funk; his parents-in-law, Willie and Ruth McLean; his siblings, Arnold, Lydia, Edna and Adlina; his brother-in-law Henry; and his granddaughter Emily.
He is survived by: his siblings, John and Anne Funk; his wife Jean; his children, Teresa (Shane), Sherrie (Blair), Darcy (Janette) and Raymond (Rosie); his grandchildren, Nassif, Anna Leya, Jonathan, Brayden, Katelyn, Keira and Olive; his siblings, Leonard (Rita), Harry, Leander (Lynette), Marina (Richard), Doreen (Jae) and Carol (Gary); and his siblings-in-law, Elsie, Ron and Bill. He is also survived by many nephews, nieces and their families and cousins.
For two years, and during the pandemic, he was faithfully cared for at home by Jean, Teresa and family, with the wonderful help of home care support.
