He was predeceased by: his parents, William and Catherine; his siblings, George (Margery) and Dorothy (Jim); his nephew Dale; and his niece Carolyn.

He is survived by: his children, Marvin (Dawn) and Marilee (Larry); his grandchildren, Sonya, Gary (Demetra), Natasha (Carl), James (Chantania), Rena, Robin (Dillen) and Raychelle (Dale); and his great grandchildren, Jordyn, Kaleb, Kai, Colt, Bella-Rae, Owen and Elias. He is also survived by Dad worked on the farm after school with his parents and alongside his brother as well as for various neighbours and relatives.
