He was predeceased by: his wife Dianna Starr; his sister Evelyn Zilinski; and his parents, Annie Starr and Clarence Starr. He is survived by: his children, Kevin Starr of Thorhild, AB and Charlene Poirier (Chris) of Edmonton; his granddaughters, Calleigh and Caydence Poirier; and his sister Alma Coley (Leroy).
