She was predeceased by: her parents, Artice Brandt and Louie Brandt.

She later assumed the position of Chief Administrative Officer for the Forty Mile Foundation which involved the management of Pleasant View Lodge and Manor as well as Forty Mile Foundation Housing, all under the umbrella of Alberta Seniors Ministry.
