She was predeceased by: her parents, Lawrence Sanderson and Alice Sanderson; her husband Ford; her siblings, Florence, Walter and Gordon; and her granddaughter Nicole.

She is survived by: her children, Dixie Seaman (Winston) and Mario Workes (Leanne); her grandchildren, Mel, Christine (Colin), Danielle (Corley), Michael (Brooke) and Tara (Tony); her great grandchildren, Alanna, Nolan, Kiersten, Katana, Camden, Bradlee, Matthew, Kaden, Caris, Zoey and Dylan; her brother Robert (Helga); and her sisters-in-law, Gail and Nadine.
