Ron Lloyd Obituary
With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Ron Lloyd of Taber, Alberta, born in Magrath, Alberta, who passed away on January 25, 2022. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Maurice Lloyd and Ethel Lloyd; his wife Lorna Lloyd; his siblings, Joan Gross and Richard Lloyd; and also, Jim, Dora Turnbull and Donald Turnbull.
He is survived by: his children, Ron Lloyd (Louise), Teri Hansen (Darwyn) and Sharla Capner; his grandchildren, Blair (Carlee), Brad Hansen, Ronnie, Andrew Lloyd, Jared (Tanessa), Brooke and Taylor Capner (Cam Derry); his great grandchildren, Nixon, Emma Hansen, Holden, Macrae and Payce Capner; his friends, Fred, Jodie and Kaden; and also Joanne.
During the pandemic, Ron looked forward to Tuesday night card night and Louise's daughter Joanne was instrumental in making this happen, for which we are very grateful.
If friends so desire, memorial tributes in Ron's name may be made directly to the purchase of a bench that will be placed at the Indian Hill Golf Course at one of the holes he scored a 'hole in one' at.
