It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Rod Coombs in Taber, Alberta, born in Lethbridge, Alberta, who passed away on November 10, 2024, leaving to mourn family and friends. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Rod Coombs to pay them a last tribute.
He was predeceased by: his stepparents, Dean and Etta; his parents-in-law, John and Anna Wall; and his siblings-in-law, Shelly Coombs and Bud Heidinger.
He is survived by: his wife Linda Coombs; his daughter Angie Schafer (Paxton) of Medicine Hat; his grandchildren, Aidynn, Kaysen, Josh, Ally and Mason; his daughter Dana Harrison (James) of Lethbridge; his grandchildren, Julia, Molly and Ben; and his siblings, Dale Coombs (Maria), Wendy Heidinger, Cynthia Schafer and Greg Hale (Marianne). He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
A funeral service will be held on Friday, November 29th 2024 at 2:00 PM at the Royal Canadian Legion (5205 48 Ave, Taber, AB T1G1S8).
