We are sad to announce that on August 31, 2024, at the age of 49, Michael Edward Hirney of Taber, Alberta passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
As we bid farewell to this cherished soul, solace is taken in the memories held dear — the laughter shared, the wisdom imparted, the moments of quiet reflection in their presence. Though Michael may no longer walk among us, his spirit lives on in the echoes of his kindness, the warmth of his embrace, and the light of his enduring love.
He is survived by: his wife Shonna Hirney; his daughters, Brooklyn (Angelo), Alexis, Taylee and Jaysa; his parents, Gord Hirney and Sharon Hirney; his mother-in-law Lorraine Kuehn; his sister Kim (James); and his sisters-in-law, Paula (Stewart) and Karie. He is also survived by numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, nephews and friends.
