She was predeceased by: her husband Henry Brecka; her parents, Floyd Badura and Frances Badura; and her siblings, Charlie Badura, John Badura, Joe Badura, Beth Braat and Frances Pavka.
She is survived by: her children, Sylvia Hiemstra (Bill) of Cranford, Beverly Brecka of High River, Carolyn Vallee (Eric) of Burdett and David Brecka of Cranford; her grandchildren, Janelle Hiemstra, Nadine Hiemstra (Jordan Hingley), Kyle Hiemstra (Kira) and Kimberly Hart (Brandon); her great grandchildren, Abigail, Claire and Gary; her siblings, Frank Badura (Virginia), Mary Kusalik, Annie Cudrak, Mildred Braat, Helen Zadnik and Rose Badura; and her nieces and nephews, Karen Willms (Vic) and Cor VanDyk.
