He is survived by: his wife Marlene Drist; his daughter Joanne Gorko of Medicine Hat; his grandchildren, James, Sara, Jenna and Riley; his daughter Angie Swartz (Darren) of Vauxhall; his grandchild Taylor Kast (Cody); his great grandchildren, Caige and Isla; his grandchildren, Steven Swartz and Debbie Brummelhuis (Bruce) of Vauxhall; and his great grandchildren, Tanner Brummelhuis and Grayson Brummelhuis (Madeline Crone).
