She was predeceased by: her parents, Elmer Marose and Janet Marose; and her siblings, Allan Marose (Emily), Douglas Marose (Dora), Edith Holstine (Fred), Laureta Chapman (Don) and Dorothy Johnson (Garth).

She is survived by: her husband Joe Verwimp; and her brother Norman Marose (Ruby).
