She was predeceased by: her significant other Ronald Valgardson; her father Clarence Bassett; her stepfather Jack Roach; her brother Bob Bassett; her siblings-in-law, William "Bill" Valgardson, Howard Valgardson, Garry Valgardson, Van Haslam, Cliff Rawsthorne, Alfred Carter, Norma Haslam, Thelma Rawsthorne, LaRue Carter, Donna Valgardson and Patti Valgardson; her close friend Margaret Bissett; and her mother Mildred Bassett.

She is survived by: her son Brian Valgardson (LorRee) of Taber; her grandson Chad (Kendall); her great grandchildren, Wyatt, Weston and Walker; her grandchild Jordan (Brittany); her great grandchildren, Nash, Navy and Vaeda; her grandsons, Colton and Jason (Teneal); her great grandchildren, Mayci and Rocco; her grandson Wayne Valgardson (Twyla) of Taber; her great grandchildren, Travus (Amanda), Curtis (Dawn), Kassidy and Carrie Simek (Roy) of Taber; her sisters-in-law, Sharon Bassett, Ethel Stephenson and Victoria Valgardson; and also, Blair, Kali, Case, Mackenzie (Tyler), Blake, Leo, Brooke (Hunter) and Austin. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
