With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Mona Thea Dagma Saastad of Sylvan Lake, Alberta, who passed away on June 26, 2024 at the age of 92. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her husband Andy; her parents, Wilhelm Braathen and Ollie Braathen; and her siblings, Sig, Melvin, Swannie, Gerd and Thelma.
She is survived by: her children, Aubrey (Rose), Rob (Lori), Wayne (Jenny), Greg (Val) and Monica (Dave); her grandchildren, Ryan Saastad, Brandon Saastad, Chandi Hergott, Rochelle Stephenson, Colton Tiedeman, Kayleigh Saastad, Sondra Saastad, Jeremy Saastad, Tim Saastad and Justin Stover; and her great grandchildren, Peyton, Cale Stephenson, Emry Hallston, Ollie Saastad, Charlie Saastad, Norah Hergott and Maddox LeBlanc.
