He was predeceased by: his granddaughter Caelan Ballantyne; and his sister Joan Koch (Gale). He is survived by: his wife Marlene; his children, Tammy Ballantyne (David) and Robi Ferguson (Jodi Montgomery); and his grandchildren, Ewan Ballantyne, Meghan Ballantyne, Morgan Ballantyne, Jayden Ferguson and Kolby Ferguson. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
