She was predeceased by: her parents, Jenny Niznik (Genovia) and John Niznik; and her brother Pat. She is survived by: her husband Ed Forner; her daughters, Cathy (Marie Pijeau), Cori and Christine Forner; her grandchildren, Alea (Damon Ausberry), Aryk Smaniotto (Tessa Miller), Jon (Maddisson Tiffin), Zackery and Jill Proudfoot; and her brothers, Jack (Donna), George and Ron.
Even in her final years, as Alzheimer's advanced and her sense of place faded, Fiona's innate wisdom and deeply caring spirit continued to shine.
