It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Elizabeth Hookey (Sylvan Lake, Alberta), born in Port Union, Newfoundland, who passed away on September 14, 2022, at the age of 61, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, George Ploughman and Rhoda May Ploughman; her siblings, Bud Ploughman (Gerald) and Cynthia Chaulk; her granddaughter Scarlett Russell; and her close friend Gwen.
She is survived by: her daughter Leaving; her sisters, Ashley Coady (Dennis), April Hookey (Darrin) and Angela Coady; her sister-in-law Sharon Ploughman; her grandchildren, Dylan Coady, Dylan Russell, Tyler Hookey, Jordon Coady, Brady Hookey, Desiree Russell and Jenna Coady; her great grandchildren, Miley Russell and Colson Russell; and her pet Buddy. She is also survived by nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
