She is survived by: her brother David Brown (Anne); her children, Tom Turner (Dorothy), Allan Turner (Irene) and Ann Nielsen (Brian); her grandchildren, Cody Toews (Marty), Tanner Nielsen (Lee), Becky Turner (Dave MacRae), Jessica Nylund (Glen), Hanna and Ria Turner; and her great grandchildren, Jake, Kaleb, Iris, Jayda, Jenna, Myles, McCullum, Lachlan and Elaya.
As an expression of sympathy, donations can be made in Doris's name to the Bethany Care Centre, Sylvan Lake, Alberta.
