He was predeceased by: his parents, Frances and Ben; his wife Betty Wolkowski; his former wife Mona Sinclair; his siblings, Victor and Longine; and his granddaughter Chantelle.
He is survived by: his children, Susan Kemmis (Robert), Butch (Cheryl), Gordon (Gail), Gary, Shelley (John) and Shawn (Barb); his brothers, Mike (Nellie) and Leonard (Madeleene); and also, Christine, Fernie and Kay. He is also survived by 9 grandchildren and 8 great grandchildren.
