He was predeceased by: his siblings, Berta, Leo and Josephine Meisels (Erna Meisels). He is survived by: his wife Eleanor; his sons, Randy (Vivian Maxwell) and Brian (Wendy Maxwell); his grandchildren, Harris Maxwell, Trisha Nakagawa, Carly, Jakob Marszowski, Bram Maxwell, Perri Maxwell, Loni Maxwell and Trevor Grohman; his great grandchildren, Nicole, Zoe and Lauren Marszowski; his nieces and nephews, Ruthy Kaiser, Allan Lunenfeld (Loraine St Louis), Susy Lunenfeld (Hector Nunez), Aron Posen and Lauren Posen (Jason Cherney); his great-nieces and great-nephews, Jonathan Kaiser, Connor Sullivan, Jeffrey Kaiser, Peter Murphy, Emi Nunez and Eren Nunez; and his siblings, Elliott (Rachelle Posen), Joe Lunenfeld and Luba Majzels.

Due to Covid-19 restrictions, a private graveside service will be held on Friday, December 4, 2020 and there will be no shiva visitation.
