She was predeceased by: her son Darcy; and her parents, Sidney Matson and Agnes Matson. She is survived by: her husband Ronald; her sons, Scott (Carolyn) of Airdrie, Jason (Mary Guiamad) of Stettler and Justin (Jennifer) of Sundre; her goddaughters, Belinda Coggins and Jill Matson King; and her brother Reg Matson (Jean) of Hay Lakes. She is also survived by five grandchildren.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions in Linda's memory may be made to the Alberta Cancer Society.
