He was predeceased by: his parents, Andrew Koenig and Margaret Koenig; his parents-in-law, Monty and Jennie Rycroft; and his sister Darlene Gibson.
He is survived by: his wife Helen Rycroft; his son Brett; his grandchildren, Jacob and Emily; his siblings, Doreen Barnes, Armand, Anita Campkin (Colin), Steve (Diane) and Jim; his brother-in-law Alex Gibson; and his nieces and nephews, Greg, Tracey, Melissa, Larry, Tanya, Trevor, David and Erin. He is also survived by many other relatives and friends.
