He was predeceased by: his parents, Gordon and Emily; and his brothers-in-law, Ron Hilton and John Knight. He is survived by: his wife Violet; his children, Jody and Lyle (Akari); and his siblings, Betty Hilton, Bill Crilly (Sandra) and Doreen Knight. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, and extended family.
