It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Michael Denne-Smith (Strathmore, Alberta), born in Lillooet, British Columbia, who passed away on April 7, 2023, leaving to mourn family and friends. He is survived by: his wife Lynn Denne-Smith; his children, Angie Boyd and Michael Denne-Smith (Tiffany); his stepchildren, Tina, Norm, Adam, Travis and Timothy; his grandchildren, Jesse, Alexis, Mathew, Brayden, Bailey, Dayton, Tessa, Tyson and Quinn; and his friend Lynn. He is also survived by family and his buddy.
In leu of flowers, donations can be made to Mike's charity of choice, Alberta Kids Cancer Care (https://kidscancercare.ab.ca), Mike has participated in a number of head shave events and has raised around $6000 himself for this charity.
