She was predeceased by: her parents, Margaret Fawkes and William Fawkes; her former husband Earle Buker; her husband Alex Peterson; and her siblings, Nancy Shaw, Jack Fawkes and William Fawkes.
She is survived by: her children, Gail of Okotoks, Sandra (John) of Three Hills, AB and Barry (Carole) of Calgary; and her sister Jean Pischke. She is also survived by her four grandchildren; eight great grandchildren.
