John Portail Obituary
With heavy hearts, we announce the death of John Portail (Strathmore, Alberta), who passed away on May 16, 2020 at the age of 74. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He is survived by: his siblings, Marie-Catherine Berger (Dietmar), Marie-Claire Vallet, Eric Hope-Rapp (AnnaMarie), Francis Hope-Rapp (Janet) and Yves Hope-Rapp (Marla); his nieces and nephews, Andi, Georgi Hope-Rapp, Savannah Hope-Rapp, Cédric Vallet, Roland Vallet (Cécile) and Strauss Whiteside; and his close friends, Rozella Pietz and Chris Dillman.
A Celebration of John's life will hopefully be held in Alberta this coming summer, once the COVID-19 restrictions are lifted.
