With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Irene Knappe (Strathmore, Alberta), who passed away on November 18, 2019 at the age of 71. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Gerritt Doorn and Jurrina van Doorn. She is survived by: her husband Albert "Guy" Knappe; her children, Melicia Yaskow (Lawrence), Steven Knappe (Candace), Anita Layh (Michael) and Suzan Dodd (Dustin); and her brother Frank van Doorn (Susan). She is also survived by numerous grandchildren and great grandchildren.
