He was predeceased by: his wife Henriette Vermeeren (Hetty); his parents, Henri Vermeeren and Catharina Vermeeren; his sister Ineke Reinhard (Frans); and his son Huibrecht Jan Vermeeren (Herb).
He is survived by: his children, Marijke Barnson and Maarten Vermmeren (Shanna); his grandchildren, Bradley (Beth), Erica, Julia and Halle; and also, Jim, Dianne and Kennedy Novak.
