He was predeceased by: his parents, Gustav Wahl and Berta Wahl (Schultz); his parents-in-law, Ellie Weinheimer (Gus), Emil Wahl (Alice), Adolf Wahl, John Bauman, Erna Straub, Erich Wahl, Helmut Franz, Nick Didack, Vic Schneider, Regina Hoff and John Thompson; his sons, Daniel Wahl and Jeffery Wahl; and his granddaughter Carlie Bell.

He is survived by: his wife Ruth; his parents-in-law, Olga Bauman, John Straub, Joan Wahl, Elfriede Franz, Adeline Didack, Alfred Wahl (Penny), Donna Schneider, Ed Hoff (Bev), May Thompson and Elaine Ree (Buren); his children, Martin Wahl (Lynn), Cathy Bell (Les) and Doug Wahl; his daughter-in-law Crystal Wahl; his grandchildren, David Wahl (Megan), Eryn Wahl, Ryan Wahl, Robert Wahl (Emily), Philip Wahl (Kylie), Luke Wahl, Marcus Wahl, Brianna Giovanetto (Stephen), Kirsti Bell, Eric Wahl, Nathan Bell, Joanna Rottier (Mathew) and Evan Bell; and his great grandchildren, Desmond, Maverick, Griffith and Wilder Wahl.
