Gilbert Saar Obituary

It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Gilbert Saar of Strathmore, Alberta, who passed away on March 25, 2023, at the age of 89, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his wife Shirley Mae Saar; his parents, Jean Saar and Loyd Saar; and his siblings, Edwin Saar, Betty McKenzie, Dorothy Vinje and Lawrence Saar.

He is survived by: his daughters, Vicki and Diana (John); his siblings, Laura Pafford, Marge Ogilvie and Steve Saar; his grandchildren, Lane (Jocelyn), Derek (Nicky), Tania (Robert), Lindsay (Bobby) and Ashley (Chris); and his great grandchildren, Brianna (Isaac), Danielle, Justin, Reese, Tessa, Zoe of Brady, J. J, Blake, Wesley and Bo. He is also survived by his family and friends.
