He was predeceased by: his parents, Elizabeth McLeod and Alexander McLeod; his former wife Mary; his daughter-in-law Kim; his siblings, Margaret, Mary, Flo, Jean, Aggie, Bella, Johnny and Kenny; and his friends, Ray Luft and Charlie Duck Chief.

He is survived by: his children, Thyra and Sandy; his grandchildren, Matthew, Zachary and Nicole-Alec; his sisters, May and Doris; his niece Donna; his close friend Elsie Kalyn; and his friend Wayne Bealing. He is also survived by numerous other nieces and nephews.
