She was predeceased by: her husband Art Merkel; her children, Michael Merkel and Judy Merkel; and her son-in-law Lance Jamieson. She is survived by: her children, Jim Merkel (Sherry), Debbie Kiemeny (Dennis), Carol Jamieson, Val Seabourne (Steve) and Dennis Merkel. She is also survived by numerous grandchildren and great grandchildren.
