He was predeceased by: his parents, Victor Engen and Mae Engen; and his brother Darcy Engen. He is survived by: his wife Linda; his children, Joshua and Alicia (Damiano); and his grandson Jackson. He is also survived by one niece, two nephews, and many longtime friends.
