She was predeceased by: her parents, Jack Parker and Dolly Parker; her former husband Victor Aalhus; her husband Edward; and her sister June.

She is survived by: her children, Nikolena (David), John (Joan) and Bruce (Marilyne); her stepchildren, Christine (Kent), Peter (Cynthia) and Richard (Lisa); her grandchildren, Melissa, Jill, Lauren, Todd, Curtis, Brielle and Kaleb; her stepgrandchildren, Mackenzie (Asha), Jamie (Jason), Kaela (Andrew), Bergen, Regina (Seth), Naomi, Cole, Phoebe and Sara; her stepgreat-grandchildren, Oliver, Wesley, Eleanor, Elliot, Joy and Henley; and her sisters, Joyce, Edith and Mary Rose.

A funeral service was held on Saturday, February 8th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Our Saviour's Lutheran Church (106 Centre St, Hussar, AB T0J1S0).
