He was predeceased by: his parents, Steven and Emma; his wife Gail; his brother Ken; and his sister-in-law Dar.
He is survived by: his children, Kim Johnson (Robert) and Kevin Deutsch; his grandchildren, Alana Johnson, Keegan Johnson (Taylor) and Grayson Deutsch; and his sister Ellie Weber (Larry). He is also survived by nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
