He was predeceased by: his parents, Lawrence Zilliox and Whilhelmine Zilliox. He is survived by: his wife Gladys; his children, Kathy Nelson (David), Ken (Jennifer) and Marilyn; his grandchildren, Daniel Nelson (Marny), Melissa Amusan (Barnabas) and Autumn Zilliox; and his great grandchildren, Lillian, Norah, Micah, Audrey Nelson and Isaiah Amusan.
