He was predeceased by: his former wife Susie; his children, Robert and Deborah; his sister Dorothy McPherson; and his brother-in-law Bill McPherson.
He is survived by: his wife Mary; his daughter Sandra; his stepdaughters, Lynne Novak (Brian) and Denise Sterling (Allen); his stepgrandchildren, Tyler, Jared Novak, Brittany, Ashley and Bailee Sterling; his siblings-in-law, Peter Klassen, Bill Buss (Mary Jane), Betty Frischbutter (Willy), Marquerite Rempel (Herb), Hertha Nikkel (Abe), Elsie Schmidt, Elsie Klassen, Eileen Klassen, Dorothy Fuernkranz (Herb) and Margaret Buss; his nieces, Sharon Pelech (William) and Anne McPherson; and his nephew Doug McPherson (Margaret). He is also survived by many other nieces, nephews and wonderful friends.
