She was predeceased by: her husband Steve Horvath; her parents, Julia Fulop and Ellis Fulop; her son Edward Horvath; her grandson Cameron Heitt; and her siblings, Joe Fulop, Philip Fulop, Charlie Fulop and Irene Cillis.

She is survived by: her children, Maryanne Potts (Ernie) of Stony Plain, Vicki Poburan (Harry) of Stony Plain, Helen Dobko (Nick) of Edmonton, Bernard Horvath of Mexico, Frank Horvath (Donna) of Edmonton, Liz Ekstrom (Clarence) of Leduc, Andy Horvath (Irene) of Edmonton and Christine Heitt (Cal) of Edmonton; her daughter-in-law Sherry Horvath of Warburg; and her sister Marge Horne. She is also survived by 101 grandchildren, great-grandchildren and great-great grandchildren.
