He is survived by: his wife Diane; his children, Jacqueline (Andrew) and Ryan (Tracy); his grandchildren, Benjamin, Callum, London and Warrick; and his siblings, Donna and Claude. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews, god daughters and other loving friends and family.

In lieu of flowers the family would ask that donations be made to Cross Cancer Institute in Edmonton on behalf of John Alan Collyer.
