She was predeceased by: her parents, Williard Kirkwood and Margaret Kirkwood; her brother Murray; and her niece Karla. She is survived by: her husband Joe Holyk; her children, Darrell, Cheryl (Andrew) and Peggy (Greg); and her friend Pat. She is also survived by eight grandchildren as well as three sisters-in-law, numerous nieces and nephews.

A Celebration of Life will be held at a later date once the pandemic restrictions ease.
